It was inspiring to see people gathering with family, friends, and neighbors to celebrate our nation’s history and the values that connect us. I hope each of you had the opportunity to enjoy the holiday in your own way and spend meaningful time with those who matter most.

Where are you from?
I currently live in Billings, Montana, and I am originally from Boise, Idaho.
Who makes up your family?
My husband, Jeff, and my dad and sisters in Boise. I also have lots of nephews and one niece, who has plenty of protection from all her brothers. LOL
What attracted you to this field?
I have always been interested in the medical field. My mother was a nurse and steered me away from patient care, so the administrative side was for me.
What is your current role, and what do you enjoy most about it?
I have been with e4health since April 2021. I currently audit and provide lead support for CF. I enjoy keeping the clients happy!
What roles or experiences led you to where you are today?
I started at Blue Cross of Idaho during my senior year of high school through a work and school program. I later worked in AP and AR at a multispecialty group in Boise and eventually created the Billing Compliance and Coding Specialist position. I became certified as a CPC based on a suggestion from a great mentor, created an auditing program for providers and coders, and later became a clinic administrator. After moving to Montana, I earned my CPMA certification and began contracting with AAPC Physician Services. I served on the AAPC chapter board from 2018 through 2020 and continued advancing my career by earning my teaching certification. I really enjoy educating providers and coders.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I love to garden when we can and when the deer, bunnies, and turkeys are not eating our harvest!
Share something interesting, unique, or surprising about yourself.
I enjoy working, which is very weird, I know! It keeps my mind active in this field. I also love spoiling my niece and nephews!
