I hope you are all enjoying some sunny spring days and finding a little time to recharge. It was such a pleasure to see many of you at the National ACDIS Conference, what a wonderful event! I always leave feeling inspired and incredibly proud of the work we do as CDI professionals. My only regret is that the time always seems to fly by, and I never get the chance to connect with everyone I’d like to.

One of my favorite parts of these events is hearing about CDI programs, what’s working well, the challenges teams are facing, and the innovative ways organizations are adapting and growing. If you ever need a “phone a friend,” my team and I would welcome the opportunity to connect. Whether it’s brainstorming ideas, talking through pain points, or sharing what we’re seeing across the industry, we’re always happy to help.

Leadership can sometimes feel isolating, but please know you are not alone. We’re here to support you however we can, and we truly value the opportunity to partner with and learn from this incredible CDI community.

What a great few days connecting with CDI leaders from across the country at ACDIS 2026! From meaningful conversations at our booth to new ideas sparked during sessions, this year’s conference reinforced just how quickly the CDI landscape continues to evolve.

A few key themes stood out this year: CDI’s role is becoming more strategic than ever, organizations are looking for smarter ways to do more with limited resources, and while technology (especially AI) is advancing quickly, success still depends on the right balance of tools and experienced CDI professionals.
