Can you walk us through your career path and how it led you to your current role at e4health?

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and spent a decade working as a pediatric nurse before transitioning into Health Information Management. I began my career at Intellis as a clinical data abstractor and quickly took on leadership roles, becoming an abstraction lead and eventually the Clinical Data Abstraction Manager.
Currently, I oversee the abstraction team and collaborate with clients from project inception to completion. In addition, I’ve recently begun working with the sales team to drive growth and expand the reach of our abstraction services. I also still work PRN as a pediatric nurse in a clinical setting.

What aspects of your work at e4health ignite your passion for improving healthcare outcomes?

Mentoring others and facilitating their professional growth is truly rewarding. I thrive on building strong relationships with clients and colleagues, and I’m driven to collaborate with healthcare providers and executives to ensure seamless data transitions. Ultimately, my work has a direct impact on healthcare excellence, and that’s incredibly fulfilling – knowing that I play a role in elevating patient care and streamlining provider efficiency.

At e4health, we pride ourselves on WEGROW values. Which of these values resonates most deeply with you, and can you share a specific instance where you’ve embodied this value in your day-to-day work?

The value that resonates with me the most is “Our PEOPLE make the difference.” I firmly believe that our team’s talent, expertise, and collaboration are the driving forces behind our success. Regardless of title or role, every team member brings unique value to the table, and together, we deliver high quality abstraction services. GSD is a close second as I am task oriented and love to check items off my to do list!

How long have you been with e4health, and what aspects have motivated and engaged you through your tenure?

As a legacy Intellis employee I joined e4health through the merger three years ago, I can confidently say that the team has been my greatest motivator. Being part of such a talented, collaborative, and dedicated group of professionals keeps me engaged, motivated, and inspired to deliver my best work.

When you are not focused on your work at e4health, what activities or interests do you pursue that help you recharge and find balance?

Spending time with my family and friends. I never recognized I was a sports fan until my sons started playing sports, now I consider watching them play a sport one of my favorite hobbies. I love to start my day with a Starbucks and catch up with my bestie each morning. I love going to Disney World with my family, we visit several times a year making magical memories.
