Julie Covello joined the e4health Team in November 2023. With a robust 30-year track record of forging deep partnerships with providers and health systems across the country, Julie further expands our service and technology leadership to tackle pressing revenue cycle challenges . Her drive stems from a deep-rooted commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery and operations – where her expertise and passion align with e4health’s vision to Empower Better Health. Julie’s mission is clear: harness expert talent paired with cutting-edge technologies to deliver unparalleled value to hospitals and health systems, ensuring clinical quality, productivity, and financial results.

Julie’s role is pivotal in driving e4health’s customer’s success. This spans medical coding, quality auditing, clinical documentation integrity, denials management, education and leveraging AI technology. She has held strategic leadership positions in vendor, facility, and physician pro-fee environments. As a successful instructor and team builder, Kristy has educated new and seasoned coders, CDI professionals, payers, physicians, and other specialized clinicians. Kristy’s work builds trusted and enduring partnerships with clients. Kristy has led top-performing revenue cycle transformation for major health networks and worked with domestic and global delivery teams to ensure performance outcomes, providing technical and subject matter expertise. She has also served in a variety of roles, including VP of Operations, Client Services Director, Manager of ICD-10 Coding and Clinical Education, and Corporate Coding Manager.

Kim is our Director of Coding Operations and the recipient of the 2023 e4health CEO WEGROW Award for Excellence. Kim is a quality-driven, production-focused operations leader with more than 15 years of leadership experience. Kim has a proven track record of developing high performing teams, managing both onshore and offshore resources for hospital, health system and physician practice coding services. Kim is passionate about providing excellent customer service that drives long-term partnerships.

Senior Director of CDI

Staci is a passionate, experienced, and dynamic leader in Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI). Staci has had an extensive background in healthcare for the past 30 years with the past 15 years focusing on CDI. Staci is driven to help organizations across the country advance their CDI programs by following CDI industry Best Practices. She is a recognized industry subject matter expert among her colleagues. Staci is a regular speaker with well attended online webinars as well as State and National ACDIS and AHIMA Conferences. Alongside her extensive CDI expertise, she possesses a deep understanding of healthcare data and uses data to display the value and impact CDI has on organizations’ quality, publicly reported data and financial impact.

Gina Stewart, MBA, RN, BSN, CCDS, CCS

Senior Director of Operational Excellence

Gina is a recognized industry subject matter expert in Coding and Clinical Documentation. Gina started her nursing career at prestigious academic medical centers in Greater Philadelphia and progressed to roles in clinical quality and clinical documentation improvement as she completed additional coding and billing credentials. Gina is an experienced CDI educator and lecturer in best practices for CDI programs. In addition to her education in nursing, she also completed an MBA at Wilmington University, as well as a post-graduate certificate in healthcare management at Cornell University. Gina is credentialed as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) through AHIMA and a Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) through ACDIS.

Kim Felix, RHIA, CCS

Director of Education

Kim Felix, RHIA, CCS possesses more than 30 years of HIM and coding experience including as a coder, auditor, manager, and educator. Education experience includes being an adjunct faculty at Temple University, Anne Arundel Community College, Gwynedd-Mercy College, Pierce College, Thomas Jefferson University and Study Mentor at Western Governors University. Kim has presented at various nationwide conferences, and has been the project manager for CMS HHS-RADV (Risk Adjustment Data Validation Audit) from 2016 to present. Kim has developed ICD-10 training programs, provides continual education sessions for clients and internal staff, developed a CCS Preparatory Workshop, and has published various articles in HFMA’s Revenue Cycle Strategist. Kim received PHIMA’s 2023 Distinguished Member Award.
