We’re excited to share a strategic leadership update at e4health that reflects both where the healthcare industry is headed—and how we’re evolving to stay ahead of it.
Rich Amelio has been appointed President, Health Information Services, expanding his leadership to now oversee both our Health Information Management (HIM) and Health Information Technology (HIT) divisions.
Rich has been a pivotal part of e4health for nearly a decade, playing a key role in advancing our client partnerships and internal operations. This new role is a natural progression of his impact and leadership—positioning us to deliver even more value through a unified approach to HIM and HIT.
A Strategic Shift to Benefit Clients
Today’s healthcare environment demands more unified solutions. Whether it’s legacy data management, system implementation, or ongoing HIM operations, organizations need partners who can connect the dots across technical and operational needs.
Here’s how clients will benefit:
- Streamlined HIM + HIT collaboration: We’re blending project management, implementation, and HIM services to ensure a more cohesive delivery experience.
- Technology-driven insights through e4sight® and e4caster®: Our internal software platforms provide real-time productivity tracking and forecast-based staffing support—bringing added transparency, accuracy, and speed to project execution.
- Faster, more efficient outcomes: With Rich leading both teams, our operations are aligned to reduce handoffs, increase speed, and enhance consistency.
- Blended expertise, broader solutions: From data migrations to legacy conversions, our clients will now benefit from an integrated team built around their evolving needs.
This move strengthens our structure and enhances our ability to deliver solutions that are both strategic and operationally sound—designed for today’s demands and tomorrow’s vision.
Continued Momentum Across the Leadership Team
In tandem with Rich’s expanded role:
- Todd Goughnour, MBA, RHIA will continue as Senior Vice President, HIM
- Tim Brennan will serve as Vice President, HIT
This leadership alignment builds on deep expertise and proven collaboration. It also sets the stage for stronger client outcomes by combining the best of HIM and HIT in one integrated strategy.
We’re looking forward to this next chapter—and the continued innovation, impact, and delivery it will bring to our clients and partners.
